I'm watching all the comic relief shows, they go on 'till 3 am!
But it's great stuff, to see how much everyone is participating and last time they counted the total amount of money raised it came to a whopping
£32,802,411!
That's nearly £33 million!
Great stuff man, seriously!

And something they said earlier, got me thinking...
Apparently £50 can treat 40 children for malaria.

Now, every year at our school the year 8 students take part in charity week, where they set up stalls with activities, and selling stuff to the other students in the school... And all the money goes to comic relief! It's a good idea
Now when I was in year 8, my stall was a bit crap, to be honest, and I ended up raising about £10...
I felt so pointless, how much could a tenner help?
But, if you do a bit of maths based on what's said up there, a simple tenner could save the lives of 8 children.
And yes, there are other people who do a hell of a lot more!
But that knowledge has filled me with such a great feeling. Even though it was like two years ago, I can't explain it though, I feel really great, especially since I've spent about a tenner at stalls this year, and I did the same last year...
So that's something like 24 children who's life I could have changed over the last 3 years, not counting other things I've done to contribute at all.

It's just such a great feeling that doing something so little as buying a tenners worth of sweets and rubbish at a crappy stall at my school can help save 8 children, who I'll never even meet.

Simply brilliant.
